The part where we show you what we’ve been up to.
The ideas before they are polished. The things that finally become real. The events that get THPP out from behind the screen. And yes, the occasional “why is this not working?” moment too.
THPP is officially stepping into the room.
The Hidden Pattern Project has been confirmed for the 2nd Annual 26 Health Fest on September 26 in Orlando. It is an exciting chance to take THPP public in a very real way — showcase what has been built, put resources into people’s hands, and meet others doing meaningful work in the community.
I’m especially looking forward to the networking piece. THPP has grown behind a screen for months. This is a chance to let people experience it in person.
A question about workshops turned into Pattern Play.
apparently “Games!!!” was the answer.I wanted The Hidden Advantage to feel engaging instead of becoming another “do this, don’t do that” presentation. The note was simple: people participate differently, lectures can be boring, and I needed something that would stick. Then the idea clicked.
The original brainstorm
One messy note about making workshops more memorable became the seed for a tool that could work beyond the workshop itself.
Pattern Play
Pattern Play will be available for individuals and can also become part of organizational workshops — giving people a more interactive way to notice, reflect, and talk about patterns.
The first giveaway pieces have arrived.
There is something different about seeing something that lived on a screen finally show up in your hands.
First box opened.
The bookmarks are the first physical giveaway pieces to arrive for upcoming events. Small milestone. Very satisfying milestone.
Seeing the brand off-screen.
The purple backs, emblem, QR codes, and printed pieces make the whole project feel a little more real — and a lot closer to being ready for Health Fest.
And then there are the parts nobody puts in the launch reel.
Building THPP has had plenty of moments where an idea becomes a real thing — and plenty where I stare at a screen wondering why something that worked five minutes ago has suddenly decided it has other plans.
I wanted Pattern Pulse to keep some of that in the story. Not because every frustrating moment deserves its own update, but because this project is being built in real time. The polished pieces matter. So does the messy middle that gets them there.
Not every update needs a press release.
Sometimes the pulse is a big event. Sometimes it is finally holding the thing you have been designing for weeks.
Health Fest becomes a chance to put the THPP ecosystem in front of people in person.
A workshop-engagement question turned into Pattern Play.
The bookmarks are here and the event setup is starting to become tangible.
Some progress looks like a finished product. Some looks like refusing to let the screen win.
