The part where we show you what we’ve been up to.
The ideas before they are polished. The things that finally become real. The events that get THPP out from behind the screen. And yes, the occasional “why is this not working?” moment too.
What happens when the project leaves the laptop.
This is the field journal side of Pattern Pulse now: the events, conversations, lessons, people I meet, and all the things I learn once THPP has to work in the real world instead of only looking good on a screen.
26 Health Fest was THPP’s first real field test.
Taking THPP into a real event was completely different from imagining how people would experience it from behind a screen.
I could finally see what made someone stop, what people wanted to ask about, what needed less explaining, and which parts of the table naturally opened a conversation.
Too much information is still too much information.
One of the clearest lessons from the first event was that I do not need to explain every part of THPP at once.
When there is too much to look at, too much to read, or too much to absorb, the important pieces can actually get harder to notice.
The better approach is to give people an easy place to start and let curiosity do some of the work. A card, a phrase, a meme, or one question can be enough to open the door.
I want Behind the Hidden Pattern in more hands.
At 26 Health Fest, I ran a giveaway drawing for Behind the Hidden Pattern.
I am not using Pattern Pulse to announce individual winners. What I do want to share is why the giveaway matters to me.
I would like to keep offering a BHP giveaway at future events when it fits.
It gives someone an opportunity to experience the program, and it gives me another opportunity to hear what resonates, what feels useful, and what they wish had been there.
Behind the Hidden Pattern is not something I see as frozen in place.
The program is constantly evolving as I learn more, hear from more people, and see where additional support or resources could make it stronger.
There may be more to come there, too.
The networking piece matters just as much as the table.
I have started being more intentional about showing up locally, meeting other business owners and community leaders, learning what other organizations are working on, and simply telling more people what THPP is.
I do not know exactly where every conversation will lead, and that is kind of the point.
Right now I am looking for more opportunities to connect, collaborate, learn what others are doing, and get the project in front of people who might not find it otherwise.
Both Sides of the Table Conference
The next stop gives THPP another chance to keep learning, meeting people, and introducing the project in a setting built around conversations between lived experience and professional practice.
I am actively looking for more opportunities to get out there.
Community events, conferences, wellness spaces, professional gatherings, workshops, networking events, and partnership opportunities are all on the radar.
I want to keep meeting people, building relationships with other organizations, and spreading the word about The Hidden Pattern Project.
If there is an opportunity where THPP feels like it belongs, I would love to know about it.
The first event gave me something the website never could.
There is a big difference between designing something for people and standing there watching people actually experience it.
Some things worked exactly the way I hoped. Other things immediately showed me where I could simplify, explain less, make things easier to explore, or just get out of the way and let the conversation happen.
That is why I want to keep doing this. Every opportunity gives THPP a chance to become a little more useful, a little more human, and a little more connected to the people it was built for.
The useful part is what I bring into the next one.
A first event does not have to be perfect to be valuable. These are the things I am carrying forward.
Not every visitor needs the full THPP explanation. Sometimes one thing that catches their attention is enough.
A clearer flow makes it easier for someone to understand where to look, what to touch, and what to take with them.
The conversation is the real point. The display should help start it, not compete with it.
The more people and organizations I meet, the more possibilities there are for THPP to reach someone new.
Know an opportunity THPP should be part of?
I am looking for more ways to network, meet community partners, attend events, and introduce THPP to new people.
Send me an opportunity, invite THPP to something you are planning, or stay connected through In Plain Sight.
